그간 비인간 동물을 향한 구조화된 폭력, 그리고 각자의 자리에서 숨을 피워냈다가 사그라진 개별 존재들에 집중해왔다면, 이번 전시에서는 그러한 불안정함 속에서도 계속해서 동작하는 세계를 그려낸다. 정지된 땅으로서가 아니라 유기체들 사이사이에서 형성되는 또다른 유기체로서의 세계를 그리며, 그렇기에 함께 일구어 가야 하는 것이고, 연결됨이 없으면 세계 역시 불투명해지는 것임을 이야기한다. 드로잉과 세라믹 작업에서 모습을 드러낸 존재들은 전시장 곳곳에서 연결됨과 분리됨반복한다. 또 벽화 작업인를 확장하여 재구성한 작업이 중심에 자리하게 되는데, 거기에는 서로를 의지하는, 무언가를 찾는, 끌어안는, 어디론가 향하는 존재들이 등장한다. 2023년 개인전 《Whisper Whisper》에서 드로잉과 회화 작업 속 모습을 드러냈던, 한 뿌리 안에서 생과 죽음을 반복하는 식물들은 이번에는 더욱 큰 존재감으로 화면을 둘러싸며 순환을 이야기한다. 이전 작업에서 계속해서 그러했듯, 여전히, 작은 생명의 심장 박동이나 마주 댄 몸에서 피어나는 온기처럼 작지만 힘있는 것들, 작지만 잊어서는 안 되는 찰나의 감각들을 붙들고 내세운다. 그리고 그것이 드로잉과 세라믹, 판화, 애니메이션과 같이 서로 다른 매체 속에서 어떻게 다르게 피어나는지를 관찰한다. 전시 제목인 는 고대 히브리어에서 유래한 단어로, 궤/방주/상자의 의미를 담고 있다. 세계는 많은 것을 품고, 동시에 그것들과 함께 움직인다. In the past I have explored structured violence toward non-human animals and their fleeting lives in their isolated realms. In this exhibition, I portray a more dynamic world that persists despite all the instability. I explore the interconnectedness of organisms emerging within the existing ecosystem, a world far from static. Cultivating this connection together as a community is crucial, as without it the world becomes a blur. In drawing and ceramic works, the living things that reveal themselves repeat connection and separation throughout the exhibition space. The work that expands and reconstructs the mural work takes center stage, where living things appear relying on each other, searching for something, embracing, and heading somewhere. The plants that revealed themselves in the drawings and paintings at the solo exhibition 《Whisper Whisper(2023)》, repeating life and death within one root, now surround the screen with an even greater presence, telling the story of circulation. Continuing from previous works I highlight small yet powerful things, like the heartbeat of a small life or the warmth that blooms from bodies leaning onto each other, small and fleeting sensations that should not be forgotten. And I observe how this blooms differently across mediums such as drawing, ceramics, prints and animation.
